Corinth, Texas
Corinth, Texas is comprised of about eight square miles of Texas’ most valuable real estate. It’s funny how that works. Anytime you find Texans gathered anywhere, that IMMEDIATELY becomes the most precious property anywhere. Don’t believe me? Ask any Texan you happen to meet. 🙂
The idyllic city is a relative newcomer to Texas, Corinth wasn’t incorporated until 1960. It’s the perfect young city for a young or young at heart family. Corinth is a prosperous community, the median income is around $100,000/year. Like all of Texas, opportunity abounds in Corinth.
Corinth is known for its can-do spirit and a sense of purpose when helping others. If you’re interested in pitching in and volunteering to make Corinth, and, by extension, the planet, a better place, you’ve arrived.

Volunteers play a vital part in the delivery of services from rocking babies or painting shelter rooms, to helping at DCFOF Thrift; volunteers are one of the largest assets Friends of the Family has. Our volunteers make it possible for us to give our clients excellent service.
We encourage both groups and individuals to look into volunteering for Friends of the Family. Whether you can give an hour a month or several hours a week, we would be honored to have your help. Corinth either hosts or has close proximity to numerous North Texas festivals and activities. Some of our favorites are:
Pumpkin Palooza – Fall is fun in Corinth. The Palooza is going to be an incredible celebration of fall. In years past as many as Five Live Bands have performed throughout the day. All the action happens at the Community Park on Corinth Parkway. That’s not all. They have a Kid’s Zone with bounce houses, and obstacle course, and face painting. The first Pumpkin Palooza was in 2016, and it’s got nothing but better since then. You’re going to want to attend.
Christmas Tree Lighting – Christmas brings the tree lighting in early December at Corinth City Hall. The lighting typically happens early in the evening so the kids can enjoy the festivities and still make it in time to get plenty of sleep for school the next day. The US Marines are present collecting Toys for Tots. You’ll find cookies, Santa and lots and lots of fun folks celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus. A good time will be had by all.
