The University of Texas at San Antonio is highly selective, with an acceptance rate of 84%. However, it is important to note that acceptance rates are based on comparisons among applicants. Most accepted students had SAT scores of 510 or higher, while 29% had an ACT Composite score of 19-25.
The University of Texas at San Antonio has been recognized as a Tier One research university by the Department of Higher Education. This designation allows UTSA to attract top scholars and enhance university research initiatives.
