Copper Breaks State Park

Copper Breaks State Park is located in Hardeman County, Texas, just 12 miles south of Quanah. It covers 1,898 acres and contains two small lakes and 10 miles of hiking trails. The park is open year round and offers a variety of recreational activities. It is great for a relaxing weekend trip or a family trip.

The park has no overhanging trees and ample space for RVs. It’s also easily accessible from Wichita Falls, Abilene, and Stamford. You can even leave your RV at your campsite and explore the park on foot or on horseback. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also visit nearby Copper Breaks Sanctuary to see rare and endangered kangaroo rats.
