The 286-acre Martin Creek Lake State Park is located southwest of Tatum, Texas, on Martin Creek Lake in Rusk County. It is administered by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Visitors to the park can enjoy a variety of activities. Some of these include fishing, boating, and swimming.
The park has three hiking trails. It isn’t a large park, and is easy to get around by bicycle. You can also take advantage of ranger-led 
programs and events that provide the opportunity to explore the park in a new way. You can participate in guided hikes and fishing programs, sign up for art classes and night sky programs, or even take part in a wildlife class.
Anglers can fish year-round in Martin Creek Lake State Park. It features a variety of species of fish, including largemouth bass, catfish, and channel catfish. There are also many species of birds and many types of hardwood trees. During the summer months, you can also catch sunfish and yellow bullhead.
This state park is located in Rusk County, Texas. The park was created in 1976 when the Texas Utilities Generating Company donated 286 acres of land to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Three hiking trails are available here: the Harmony Loop Trail, the Old Henderson Road Loop Trail, and the Island Trail.
The park is also located near a former settlement, Harmony Hill. In the 1880s, the town had a population of about 100 people. It was an agriculturist town along the trade route and was designated as a flag stop when the railroad began coming through. The railroads eventually bypassed the town, but it never recovered. The town’s cemetery is still located outside the park.
